The New Aero TMF: A One-Stop Shop for Non-Destructive Testing and Metal Finishing Services

Things are changing at Aerospace Technical Metal Finishing.

You’ll notice we have a new name—you can call us Aero TMF for short. Plus, we moved our facility from Burbank to Valencia, California.

But these aren’t the only changes happening within our company.

We’re expanding our offerings to become a one-stop shop for non-destructive testing and metal finishing services—and we’re overhauling our internal processes while we’re at it. Our mission is to satisfy our customers in the aerospace and defense industries with consistency and on-time delivery.

In the past, you’ve known our business as a wet paint shop. But the new Aero TMF offers a wide range of services to handle all your testing and finishing needs.

Complex masking is our specialty. Many shops won’t touch the complicated masking jobs we take because they lack internal expertise. But our team has the knowledge, cutting-edge methods, and materials to ensure top-quality results.

One of the main goals at Aero TMF is to increase part quality through process improvement and employee training. 

We’re creating universal steps and standards for each workflow to maintain consistency and quality in our non-destructive testing and metal finishing services. These systems will put our employees on the path to making better parts.

We also want to decrease lead times for customers. To achieve this goal, we’re working to improve our inventory processes as well as communication and transparency with customers. We’re committed to having the right chemicals, paints, and other necessary supplies in our shop to deliver your requested parts on time.
