Most of our in-house painting jobs require both primer and top coat, but we cater to various specifications based on customer needs. For aerospace customers, we leverage our detailed understanding of the industry to deliver the best products.
Our Nadcap-certified shop already adheres to high standards. But when customers like Gulfstream request additional specifications or military specs, we strictly follow them before, during, and after paint application.
Our expert painters understand the nuances of primer and paint. Primer is sometimes used alone to seal rough surfaces and prevent corrosion, while a top coat is typically applied over primers or fillers, depending on customer needs. Some primers also require a wash primer to ensure superior adhesion.
For complex primer and paint applications, we don’t leave results to chance. Instead, we use a “traveler” or router to guide our painters.
